I simply adore Lindsey and Barry. They simple LOVE & ADORE each other!! You can see it when they smile at one another (and they smile at each other a lot!). I spent a sunny, beautiful day with the two of them last weekend at a beautiful spot in Walnut Creek. It was a joy finally getting to know the two of them and it makes me even more excited to get to photograph their upcoming wedding in a few months. Meet Heather and Chris…again!

Heather and Chris are so much fun to photograph. This is their second engagement session because, they are THAT awesome! A couple of weeks ago, my good friend Bob Davis came to the bay area and decided to do a one day workshop in SF, CA. He asked me if one of my couples wanted to model for it and Heather and Chris happily took me up on the offer. It was a fun day and they were amazing, patient, sweet models. Of course, I already adore them both but now even more after getting to do a second engagement session for them and spending the day with them!! I can’t wait to photograph their upcoming wedding! Here are some of my favorite images I took of the two sweethearts. Love you Heather and Chris and thanks again for being so wonderful. Enjoy my sneak peak from the day!

Lovely Little Layla {Baby Session} Danville, California

Meet Miss Layla also lovingly known as Ladybug.

I met Layla’s parents at a recent wedding I photographed and I fell in love with their entire family especially sweet Layla. Her smile melts my heart! As many of you know, I recently decided my business needed to specialize more in one thing in my business and that was WEDDINGS… however, just because I now specialize in Weddings I still LOVE being inspired and photographing babies, children and families as well as events! Over the last two to three years I have started to focus on Weddings more and more so this year I launched a brand new website that is ALL Weddings. I LOVE Weddings, however, this does NOT mean I don’t love and still photograph babies, families and children and I do them on a more limited number but am thrilled to do them. I still give the same care, attention and love to other specialities in the photography field but I am now 80% Weddings. Thankfully, after posting Layla’s Baby session yesterday a close photographer friend called to tell me; “Melinda, you have not lost your touch with babies!”…Phew, SO glad to know that I can still do it all and love it all and I so do!! Now, back to LAYLA…this little baby girl seriously makes me melt. I adore her and her family. You will be seeing a lot of her in the coming year as she is on a baby plan collection (ask me if your interested) and so I get to photograph her many times in the coming year {Happy Dance for ME!}…so watch her grow on my blog and I will give her hugs and kisses for each and every one of you watching…hehe- Lucky me!

Happy Valentine’s Day!

Today I am sharing a super fun engagement shoot I did a couple weeks back. It was my awesome bride’s idea to do a cooking theme and I LOVED it! So different and such a blast! Super sexy couple + Spicy chili + Rockin loft + playing video games (their favorite things to do!) = CRAZY COOL!! I love all of my 2012 brides…they are all so different this year which makes my job even more fun and exciting. I adore Whitney and Rhasan and can’t wait to photograph their wedding in a few months. The Farnaz Wedding {Bridges Golf Club San Ramon, California}

This weekend I had the honor of photographing the absolutely gorgeous traditional Persian wedding of Behnaz and Farrokh. I adore both of them so much and had such a wonderful time spending the day with the them and their amazingly fun, fabulous family and friends! It was a wedding that photographers dream of with details galore…bright vibrant colors and everything done elegantly and perfectly down to the bride’s smokin’ hot red bow patent leather Valentino shoes! The day was full of laughter, joy and happiness. I am thrilled for the newlyweds and know they are going to have a beautiful life together forever. The wedding was at the stunning Bridges golf club of San Ramon, California with the sun shining and blue sky. Congratulations to Behnaz and Farrokh! Here is a sneak peak of the day I know your going to LOVE!

Happy New Year Everyone! 2012 is here…and I am sooo excited about all my 2012 upcoming weddings this year. It is going to be another amazing year of weddings. To start out the year, I am blogging one of my sweet and fun couples Heather and Chris! You two rock!! I had a blast shooting their e-session, now I am even more jazzed to shoot their wedding! We spent an afternoon wine tasting and photographing and just enjoying a beautiful day at the vineyard I hope you love their sneak peak as much as I do and this is just the beginning of all the awesome couples I have for 2012 this year so please check my blog often to keep up?

Alenka & Joseph I Venice, Italy

Ciao, Ciao…
I am finally posting part #1 of many parts of my 15 day adventure in Italy. It was my first time visiting Italy and I have to say, Italy stole a piece of my heart. It was such a beautiful adventure. I started out in Venice, Italy and was speechless with the sheer beauty of Venice. But Alenka and Joseph also stole a little piece of my heart. There love is so pure, sweet, NOT simple but deep and lasting for sure. I love you two and wish you all the happiness together forever. Tiffany and Miles {Wedding} the day after…

Kim & Jason make it official! {Wedding} Santa Clara Mission and Castlewood Country Club

Kim and Jason are what love is all about…pure, sweet and real. Their wedding day was filled with love all around, I had a smile on my face all day long because being with them and their family and friends just made me feel… love! So much happiness and joy. The Wedding began at the Mission, a beautiful church in Santa Clara, California and then we headed to Castlewood Country Club for the stunning reception. Kim and Jason are just truly beautiful, warm and loving people on the inside and out! I am beyond happy for them and wish them all the happiness in the world. I love you both, dearly.
