First of all, I have to state the obvious in the portraits…Philina is beautiful and is sporting the most perfect baby bump I have ever seen. Especially the fact that twins are growing inside makes it even more amazing! I had to share a few of my favorite images from her maternity session taken a couple of weeks ago.

Now I can’t wait for these little guys to arrive so we can photograph the little newborn brothers…coming soon!

The Berg family is fun, beautiful and growing as they anxiously await the fourth member of their family due any day now. Here is a sneak peek video of their session portraits. I always love the raw emotion of a new baby on the way, Mom’s thrilled, scared, nervous and excited as is Dad and Big Brother is just plain DONE hearing about baby on the way as he not so anxiously prepares for his life to change as he has been the center of attention for all these years up until now but in a year of two, he will adore his baby brother or sister more than anyone! I felt the emotion during this session and it was a true pleasure. I LOVE my job as a photographer and feel so blessed to be invited into peoples lives. I can’t wait to photograph Baby Berg soon. For now, I hope you love the video of their session…while waiting!

Been playing with something totally new to me…textures! I have always loved looking at other photographers work using textures but never got a chance to try it out for myself so the other day I bought so really cool textures from Nichole V and played with them last night and WOW…I am hooked! Here is a photo I took of a beautiful expectant mom and her oldest daughter and I love this image not to mention how the texture really gives it a fun urban feel; very natural, very pure!
