Meet Miss Layla also lovingly known as Ladybug.

I met Layla’s parents at a recent wedding I photographed and I fell in love with their entire family especially sweet Layla. Her smile melts my heart! As many of you know, I recently decided my business needed to specialize more in one thing in my business and that was WEDDINGS… however, just because I now specialize in Weddings I still LOVE being inspired and photographing babies, children and families as well as events! Over the last two to three years I have started to focus on Weddings more and more so this year I launched a brand new website that is ALL Weddings. I LOVE Weddings, however, this does NOT mean I don’t love and still photograph babies, families and children and I do them on a more limited number but am thrilled to do them. I still give the same care, attention and love to other specialities in the photography field but I am now 80% Weddings. Thankfully, after posting Layla’s Baby session yesterday a close photographer friend called to tell me; “Melinda, you have not lost your touch with babies!”…Phew, SO glad to know that I can still do it all and love it all and I so do!! Now, back to LAYLA…this little baby girl seriously makes me melt. I adore her and her family. You will be seeing a lot of her in the coming year as she is on a baby plan collection (ask me if your interested) and so I get to photograph her many times in the coming year {Happy Dance for ME!}…so watch her grow on my blog and I will give her hugs and kisses for each and every one of you watching…hehe- Lucky me!
