I simply adore Lindsey and Barry. They simple LOVE & ADORE each other!! You can see it when they smile at one another (and they smile at each other a lot!). I spent a sunny, beautiful day with the two of them last weekend at a beautiful spot in Walnut Creek. It was a joy finally getting to know the two of them and it makes me even more excited to get to photograph their upcoming wedding in a few months. Meet Heather and Chris…again! 
Heather and Chris are so much fun to photograph. This is their second engagement session because, they are THAT awesome! A couple of weeks ago, my good friend Bob Davis came to the bay area and decided to do a one day workshop in SF, CA. He asked me if one of my couples wanted to model for it and Heather and Chris happily took me up on the offer. It was a fun day and they were amazing, patient, sweet models. Of course, I already adore them both but now even more after getting to do a second engagement session for them and spending the day with them!! I can’t wait to photograph their upcoming wedding! Meet Miss Layla also lovingly known as Ladybug.
I met Layla’s parents at a recent wedding I photographed and I fell in love with their entire family especially sweet Layla. Her smile melts my heart! As many of you know, I recently decided my business needed to specialize more in one thing in my business and that was WEDDINGS… however, just because I now specialize in Weddings I still LOVE being inspired and photographing babies, children and families as well as events! Over the last two to three years I have started to focus on Weddings more and more so this year I launched a brand new website that is ALL Weddings. I LOVE Weddings, however, this does NOT mean I don’t love and still photograph babies, families and children and I do them on a more limited number but am thrilled to do them. I still give the same care, attention and love to other specialities in the photography field but I am now 80% Weddings. Thankfully, after posting Layla’s Baby session yesterday a close photographer friend called to tell me; “Melinda, you have not lost your touch with babies!”…Phew, SO glad to know that I can still do it all and love it all and I so do!! Now, back to LAYLA…this little baby girl seriously makes me melt. I adore her and her family. You will be seeing a lot of her in the coming year as she is on a baby plan collection (ask me if your interested) and so I get to photograph her many times in the coming year {Happy Dance for ME!}…so watch her grow on my blog and I will give her hugs and kisses for each and every one of you watching…hehe- Lucky me!
